Not sure if they would dumb down the demo, when that is going to be a selling point for their game. But you might be right, those game videos, screen shots looked great but im just not seeing that level of detail in the demo. The reasoning behind the damage not effecting your car, is like xboxxxx stated its in arcade mode.

Either way it wont be on my list of games to buy in the near future.

I just finished playing the demo.. What a dissapointment. It appears if it might be fun to tune the cars but I was expecting killer graphics. Audio is cool--appears to be very realistic.

It was tacky I think on turn 10, they pumped this game up, and showed imo false in game pictures. Games a bust, I like the feel of pgr3 better. Yes the crash damage, and sounds are superb, but the game play sucks.

I love it! I do not see why people complain about the graphics, physics, force feedback.

It all comes down to personal taste I guess.

I played the demo yesterday and i have to agree with most of the post, the games a disapointment. Not sure if its down to to much hype or comparing it to PGR3.

Based on the demo I'll stick with PGR3 and wait for PGR4 before I get another racing game.

Id would have agreed if it wasn't the sheer amount of hype around it. Those ingame videos/screen shots all looked incredible. I really thought this was going to be the defining game for the racing genre. Instead I got a slightly better pgr3.

Now had they pushed the gameplay, physics, crash damage, and audio then yes it would have lived up to the hype. But they pushed it as the best looking racing game out there. Look at the 100's of screen shots and show me that detail in the game. Shiny clear coat's in game just don't get my rocks off.

But like any game to each their own, I love armor core 4, whereas others can't stand it (the majority LoL).

Watching this compairision video of forza 2 and pgr3, I have to say I think the graphics for pgr3 are better, but crash damage, sheer amount of information about your car, and audio goes to forza 2.

If your coming from the main news page, disregard this link.

I think the graphics are equal. Forza is not as flashy/shiny etc... because it is a sim but runs a 60fps, then PGR3 is nicer looking due to the flashy-ness (lol?) but runs at a lower framerate and lacks realism. I would not compare the 2. I would simply by both as gameplay is totally different, well the whole feel is different.

I would say that the Force feedback is terrible in PGR3 and TDU. Driving a car down the highway the wheel does not fly all over the place (TDU)

I just ordered my Playseat so I cannot wait for Forza 2 now.

P.S Nice to see plenty of input on this game. Keep the replies coming.
