Major bummer,
After hearing my buddies Gamesave on the PS2 version went to pot, my just became a corrupted file. I finally beat hard, (Carry me Home by the living end, was kicking my ass in hard). And I had about 15 songs done in expert.
Now i have to earn those songs back in medium for quickplays, and then start expert again.
Fun Fun, but practice for x360 version.

Your right about Carry Me Home, that song kicked my ass in medium.. I finished it with 3 stars and 89 percent notes hit. Which pretty much means i need more and more damn practice, and i thought Freebird was bad, geez...This one takes the cake. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

I just got this on Friday and have to say this is the most addictive title to date on the 360 for me. I love my mechs but I love rocking out to music even better.

hmm lol you guys obviously arent hardcore players.
I got this game last Sunday the 8th. By the next morning i had beaten hard, and was playing through expert. I got all the way to free bird on expert within a few hours and decided to break, went and got all of the achievements i possibly could, then beat expert, and within the next few hours beat medium and hard with all 5 stars on the songs.
i have 40/50 achievements and should have all but 5 or six by the end of the week at latest.

Its not that I don't want to be hardcore, but when my eyes start to bleed from watching the screen and my forearm is throbbing, I think it would be time to call it a day.
I beat hard again in a 2 days (3 and 4 stars, no 5's) . My problem is consistency, i can't keep the multiplier, but I have usually score in high 80's for %.
Its fun, but I am not going to push it any faster than I am going now, its more fun this way and I can enjoy it longer. _________________________________________________________ XBOX v1.6

lol its not like that its just that i boulder, which is rock climbing without the harness, so i have strong forearms, which leads to not getting tired :p
And a tip, works for me anyway, try playing the game with hyperspeed on. It speeds up the fret board but spreads out the notes, so your hitting it at the same speed, its just easier to decipher those hard strings of notes, that usually seem to appear in a big bunch.
Another tip is to not get too into the game dont really concentrate on it fully, whenever i do that i mess up just chill and hit the keys as they come.
lol bu most of all PRACTICE, get the dexterity up in your fingers and the rest is smooth riding :p

I love when you look away from the screen, and the whole room starts to warp, lol. Or when you have an annoying itch somewhere on your face, ie nose, ear, ect...

I know the room warp feeling.
I haven't seen any Hyperspeed option in the PS2 version (its what my roommate has). Also, as far as building dexterity, I Have been playing on the 3rd party wireless guitar, of which whose buttons are nearly impossible to wail on really quickly like the one that comes with the game.
And as far as concentration, I usually drone out and just stare at the line but think of something else.
I hate playing longer songs, b/c thats when all the itchy parts start appearing all over endless, its the worst. _________________________________________________________ XBOX v1.6

Yea those long ones are killer, but whats worse is when its a long one, and your nailing every note. Your sitting there like, "just don't think about it". But usually for me I blow it, but I did finally hit all the notes and got the achievement.
My favorite thing though has to be when you really get into a song. My favorite song is rage against the machine's. I stand up and everything and rock that song hard. My wife laughs at me, and my kids look on in amazement, but hell that is a bad ass song, especially when your rocking it.
Everyone that comes over, laughs at first, until I get them to play a song. I really do need to get another guitar, all these damn mooches steal my playing time LoL.
I wish you could play this on live with others, that would be nice. Heard something about a patch possibly for it. Hope it hits.

I think I read on the Joystiq network that it won't be a patch, but an option in GHIII.
And RATM is my favorite. I wish they would sell a Rage Bundle for the X360 _________________________________________________________ XBOX v1.6
