Well, I got the little room in my apartment, so it gets a little warmer all the time than my roommates, but I have had no heat problems with my 360, or anything else serious. I do notice the emulation problems when running xbox 1 discs. My 360 is standing up, with about 1 foot on all sides but the back. I found a use for the massive amounts of heat the console dumps out the vents...I have a fishtank on my desk with tropical fish, but an undersized heater, so I have the waste heat off the 360 dump onto the side of my tank with no heater. I like to think that I've had no problems out of mine because my fish tank keeps it cool, lol.

I ran into my first problem today but I think it was more of a network issue.

I was playing UNO and I joined just at the moment the host game dropped out and my box froze up. I couldn't use the controler for anything I had to get up and cut it off and back on with the button on the front of the 360. I instantly went back to playing with no problems.

I still haven't had any heat issues as of yet

Well Guys.. I just came across my first problem.. Ive had my xbox running none stop for the last 3 months or so... LOL (i know what am I thinking)(for those on my friends list know its always on) And today I took FFXI out to download pacman and when I inserted the disc it wouldnt read it. I was thinking maybe FFXI was damaged so I tried another game and the same.. Tried a movie and same... So now my first 360 is not working other than xbox live marketplace etc.. I have 3 other 360's so Im gonna try n swap out the dvd drive to see if maybe that is the problem... Im glad to know that hobby and djb's box is still running strong.. Sorry I havent been around much guys, been stuck on FFXI for the longest.. WARNING**** do not play FFXI unless you dont care about your other xbox360 titles... lol.. I have every game on the market and have yet to play the new ones... Oh well...... If you guys know a fix for this please help me out.. thanks alot... (for those on my friends list that know how to fix it send me a message.)

Well instead of taking apart another 360 i just swapped out harddrives so that I could get back to my FFXI.. But if anyone out there has the solution to this problem please please help me out.. I would hate to have a 360 good for only xboxlive marketplace games... Thanks alot for reading this and for any possible solutions that may arise..

Maybe time to send her back under warranty eh??

Yea this box wont be able to go in for warranty work.. been taken apart on day 1 and has a few minor case mods so I guess im S$$% out of luck on this one... If theres no solution for this problem then maybe we can use this as some kind of dummy box and rip it apart limb for limb.. lol who knows maybe after a few days of NOT BEING ON it just might kick back in gear.. well see...

Mine (premium) has had freezing issues since I got it. Not very often at first, but now I can hardly race a single race on Most Wanted and all of my downloaded demos are locking up. It sucks for a $400 dollar console.

the need for speed game has major issues on any console with locking up.. Every person i know had issues with that game..

I believe NFS just had bad game testers.. lol

Another game famous for locking up is the OVER G Fighters.. It locks up everytime you get a achievement for some reason..

anyway, thanks for sharing.. feel free to hang about and meet the other guys on the site with their 360's.
