I would like to thank hobbs and the staff here for making this site happen.

I would like to thank the users for being so friendly and helpful, especially thank you to Khris for what he did back in April/May with my partners son.

We are trying to raise money to go to USA as my partner has spent 13 years in NZ and its time she showed me USA, her kids over there really need her help, so hopefully ill catch up with some of you guys when we get sorted.

in order to get there we have to raise a lot more money than we have (theres 8 of us), so the 360 and games have got to go this weekend as well as tv's and computers etc, we aim to have nothing left, and xmas is off this year, my son (7) didnt take it very well, but he gets that its important.

hopefully i will be back here but by the time we get on our feet i might have an xbone, just to be a part of this community again, or a modded 360.

i may get on here time to time but probably wont have internet for quite a while, or a 360, but we will still have internet, in NZ, for a few more weeks/months.

thanks guys xbox-hq 360-hq and recently xboxone-hq have been nearly all my internet distractions.

I'm sorry to see you go, an active HQ member but at least you'll be back as soon as you can. This sounds like quite the undertaking. I always wondered on how people choose where they go when moving to America but for you guys, it's most likely the area your wife's family is. I am curious too, what state are you headed to?

Your poor boy, it's too bad he has to give up his water cooled 360 but he might just like it here and someday get another one.

It's hard to move, it's hard to give up your belongings and it's hard to start over. You'll be doing all three. So hang in there and view it like a big adventure. See you in USA soon pilgrim!

Same here. If you need anything, PM me. I'll try to help in any way possible.

yeah its a mammoth task to just relocateand start again, but i see it like it was 150 years ago, my ancestors did it on a slow moving ship with nothing so we should be able to as well, only faster these days, and we dont have much holding us here only extended family.

we are going to pennsylvania i think we almost have a place to stay at first sorted (sleeping on the floor for a few weeks on mattresses) we just need a decent vehicle. and the money for flights we are saving everywhere we can and selling it all. we dont have much to sell, trying to get my father to finance a loan but hes 72 so he is reluctant at his age. even though we will pay it off, hes scared of losing everything if anything goes wrong at work so hes not on board yet. we need to get there though as my step kids are going through some bad times involving drugs and abuse and children and youth have been involved.

any fundraising ideas would be very much appreciated. i have to make this happen soon no matter what i have to do.

Bummer to see ya go man, but RL is more important. Obviously a water cooled xbox 360 is a pretty nice piece of hardware, but once the xbox one has been out a few months you'll be able to get a 360 pretty cheap. A friend of mine sold me his a few months ago for just $50.

Best luck and hope to see you again eventually

The site is a bit quite lately due to the fact we have had alot of server dramas this year as well as my own personal issues the past 2 months.. Hopefully things will pick up again soon. good to hear from ya too buddy.. take care.
