XBLA Games from CDR/DVDR
Do you think this could be used for some sort of a loader someday or exploit? maybe make the 360 think it is running lets say Joust when it is really running MAME?
Just a thought.

We've made a little discovery here that may prove useful to 360 users without an expensive harddrive for their console.
Xbox Live Arcade Titles will execute when placed onto CDR/DVDR disks.
XBLA on HDD reside in this format on Partition3 of HardDrive. /Content/0000000000000000/*TitleID*/000D0000/*XBLA Game*
Burning this directory structure to any writable disk and placed in a console will populate the XBLA Menu with the titles on the disk.*
Someone please tell me where we are going to "store" XBLA games, so that I can go ahead and save all my full versions of the games I have purchased to a location on a VIP FTP server, "wink, wink, nudge, nudge"...

Sorry blazdalot we don't support piracy and if you upload something like that we will immediately delete it. Anyways when doing this as described you only get trial versions of the games if you have not purchased the full version on your profile/360. _________________________________________________________

Just for the record " I do not use xbox ISOs" Heck its just to easy to go out and pick them up used. But I admit I will some times use a game that I use to own but got trashed some years back or one that is not yet or no longer available for purchace and is over 10 years old. I will however go and by them when the do put them up for sale again. Oh and sometime I will have to post pics of the games I have collected over the years for which I have the right to have anyways
and lets face it MAME plays some games that will never see the light of day again in a retail market.
but back to the subject, do you think someone is working on this. the biggest problem I see is that when you finish any of the live games the connect to live everytime you close them. _________________________________________________________

I am not "advocating piracy", I am pushing self educated emulation through social channels. I support the software industry whole heartedly, I have invested tens of thousands of dollars over the years, and I believe that if the product is worthy of a purchase, then I am all over it. I think that the industry pushes enough CRAP tiltes out, that people should be able to "try before you buy" and for the titles that do not have that option, I am more then happy to let my fellow modder try out my game. Blockbuster is not getting my nearly ten dollars to rent a game anymore, and anyone else out there that is motivated enough to avoid that cost, I am thrilled to ablidge.
Thank you...

Ain't that what's so great about the Xbox 360. Lots of free demos and you don't even have to pay 10 bucks for a magazine to do it either. _________________________________________________________
