I'd have no idea to code this but was wondering if anyone else found it to be a good idea.

The idea is to have a ruler type of app where you hold your phone to one spot and can drag it to the other spot and it'll show you measurements of how long that measurement is.

Or does something like this already exist?

There are already many smart ruler apps that take measurements and angles ect...

good idea for an app, but rulers or tape measures would be cheaper and more accurate.
