Ok guys and gals, i need a little help here with this one. I have stayed in the dark on the whole dvd firmware modding scene and now i am seriously lacking in knowledge on how to do things. I know how to get my 360 dvd drive powered and connected to the pc (Thanks Pirrup) but i have no idea what i have to do to it after that or what to do with the games. Can i rip from the retail discs or do i have to get the images from the internet??? When i have an image, what the hell do i do with it after that??
Any help or tutorials here would be great.
Thanks

^^^ haha had to make it 3!!
That depends on what dvd drive you have. The Hitachi Gary OPA one comes with a great readme and really you simply run it from a command and it backups and flashes.

flashing the drive is fairly easy ,
the hax are getting improved on almost weekly basis , and the old hax usually don't work on newer drives ,
in fact , old hax usually brick the drives if used with wrong drive/firmware
there are tutorials on everything you need to know , hobbs doesn't want me to link to the website ,
so google for it
making backups is a little complicated at the beginning ,
but again , there are many tutorials on how to do this .,
