The wireless controller that came with my 360 has a drift issue. Been going for a while and just ignored it. But now that Im getting into BF3 again its getting annoying when you try to aim and it just drifts. I can set my controller on the table and the guy will just drift to the left. SO obviously its something to do with my left stick. Anybody know how to fix thsi?

sometimes its just gunk, take your controller apart pull the thumb stick off and put a drop or three of alcohol inside the thumb stick mechanism and move them around do this a couple times then wipe it down and make sure its dry before you put the batteries back in. if it is a gunk problem this should help break it down so it will work properly. if this doesn't work for you then it is just normal wear and tear just like hobbs said. oh and just use regular alcohol, if you use nail-polish remover or industrial strength alcohol it could eat away at the thumb stick stem and base.

When you say regular alcohol Im assuming you mean like an alcohol swab/the stuff you would put on a cut. Correct? If so Ive got some 70% rubbing alcohol. Or is that to strong of stuff? Gonna have to dig through my tools and see if Ive got a driver that will fit. Thanks for the tip.
