So i am looking for a way i can play backup games and hence want to get my xbox modded. i will not due this myself as i dont want to take the risk. there are some people in my area that will charge a small fee to do this and i am ok with this. they are reqesting to know what my lot number is to see if my drive is even able to be modded. I do not see a lot number anywhere on the xbox. i have looked at examples and still do not see it. i have a slim line 250gb kinect bundle that is brand new i one from work. it was manufactured 9/2011. how can i find out if i can even get my xbox modded without physically opening the machine?

Then it's most likely you have a LOT 1140X or 1139X which have inside a LiteOn 1175 drive which is not exploitable for now.
