I had my cousin's RE5 game here at my house. I didn't play so it sat in the game case. Our cat urinated on it and we cleaned it with alcohol. The disk no longer is readable. Would it be the cat pee or the alcohol that caused this?

The case was closed but the disk still stunk, that is why we cleaned it.

Both of the liquids you used can be harmful to the disc. I would guess it would probably be the cat piss, but we can't know for sure. Did you attempt to play it at all before you cleaned it with alcohol.

well unless the surface of the disc had defect where it was not fully protected by lacquer and managed to reach the aluminum which would react with any animal urine causing corrosion. I would go pay the 15 bucks to have the disc fixed to see if that will fix it before replacing it, could just need resurfaced.

I don't know, but that is fucking funny Laughing
I'd take that cat down to the zoo and get it raped by a lion.

Alcohol is good for cleaning... You can use it on your xbox unless your xbox is Muslim Razz
