I Did x-clamps with nylon washers. so nothing is shorting out. I have tryed diffrent power bricks. no clue what to do. it wont even overheat when i stick heat gun to it. Whats wrong?

well i cant say wheel bearing grease is the same consept if you got the stuff from arctic silver use that it doesnt conduct electricity and is mad to actually help with heat transfer bearing grease is not ment for that grease is ment as a insulater to help prevent friction,so being a mechanic and familier with these things i can onley see it hurting your system and most bearing greases do actually have a small amount of matalics in them as an addive.clean it all of completley with some sort of electrical safe cleaner make shure there is nothing grounding anywere its not suposed to and use the artic silver and hopefully this will help you.and as a tip dont ever use just any grease on electronics your looking to ruin it if you do and if you have to use grease made for electronics you can find the stuff everywhere.hope this helps

oh ok i see.well they have electrical cleaners the best stuff i have found you can get at almost any hobby shop they use it to clean out electric motors and speed controlers an such i'd try that and its sprays out of the can so it kinda helps blow all the crap out of corners and stuff i use that and like a painting brush for water coloring and stuff to help work it out.also you did the x-clamp mod so you probley had to drill out the holes i would imagin ake shure there is no burs around the holes grounding
