I have been waiting for Ubisofts R.U.S.E to arrive for a while now. Now that its here, i really am not sure if its a game i will get into. After the thrill and excitement of COD and BC i think it might be a bit tame...BUT..if i thought it was a game worth learning, i think i would give it a go. So far, I cannot work out how the game works and simply pushing buttons isnt helping. Any tips or basic instructions would be appreciated.

I will hopefully have the time to play the demo this weekend.. I've been working so much lately I haven't had much game time.. Any game from UBISOFT has my two thumbs up.. One of my favorite game publishers/developers..

Let me know how you get on. I, along with Sternchen911 have bought the game. I am about a quarter way through the Single Player. I didnt get into the Demo, it was far to complex for someone who has not played a strategy game before. But, i acutally really like the game, but its taken a bit of getting used to.
I could not resist the idea of reliving those RL WW2 battles and i really love the history side of things. The game does not get a good review, with Gamespot saying its boring. Well, i totally disagree with that - i find it intense, intellegent and it feels pretty "authentic" to me. I almost think this game is beyond reproach because of what it tries to achieve. I think it does a pretty good job. But hey, i am not a reviewer and so it will be up to others to decide if its worthy additon to the waring world.
