Hello
My old Samsung MS28 got burned, so I've bought a new one, but I can't get it to connect to my computer, so I wanna check if it's working (I think it may be damaged during shipment). Is there any easy way to do this?

Thanks in advance

if your console is opened, just hook it up and test it with a dvd, if that works then you can swap the boards on the dvd drive itself (if it wasn't a firmware flash gone wrong, and that's why you needed the new one) and test it with a game. But any drive will play dvd's in any console, just no games Smile

OK. I've bought a new drive, because I burnt my old one, but nothing happens when connected to the Xbox, it won't even eject the tray, so I guess it's DOA
