Hey
Just saw the Fable 2 trailer and it looks pretty damn sweet, amazing effects and i'm just downloading the Halo 3 trailer on Xbox Live.
I watched some on the Nintendo Conference Live. Tennis game looked a laugh. also watched about 1min of PS3 (Sony spokespearson is a bore *yawn*)
What do you all think so far?

All I can say about E3 is UNO IS AWESOME hahaha, you might take this as a joke but I just got through with a marathon session of nearly 5hrs of gameplay, there's enough house rules to basically play it like you do at home. I'm going to get some sleep and write a review on it first thing when I wake up. Actually I'll probably write it tonight but save it for in the morning to proofread and such you know how things are at 3am hahaha.
Halo 3 looks prerendered but everyone says it's the ingame engine just doing a scripted event (like halo and halo 2 cut scenes) so I believe the game will look every bit as good as it does on the screen, maybe even better since it's probably still a year away from being released. I haven't had the chance to watch the fable 2 trailer, Brothers in Arms 3 looks really good, very nice physics, boxes/shacks/etc shredding with bullet fire, the tank crushing the front of a jeep, it looks great. Of course the sports games look better than last year, but animation will always be an issue, the college 2k6 basketball looks pretty good. Sonic looks like it will be just as fun as the Dreamcast version, maybe better, I sure hope it is.
I am pretty dissappointed with the ps3, no rumble, tacked on motion sensor, cheap feeling controllers, high price. But honestly I was talking to a guy on uno during a game, he has a good point, if the HD-DVD cost $100, then you basically have the same thing with the premium + hd-dvd as you have with the basic ps3, 20gb hdd, no memory card ports, usb connections, etc _________________

I'm fairly disappointed with Sony myself. Maxconsole has a nice editorial on how Sony has "fallen". Once I find the link I'll post it up here. It shows the items they said wouldn't work on the 360 and then how Sony incorporated them into their own system.

Well I was for sure a fan for the original Fable and the second instalment looks pretty damn good atm. So thats added to my 'Need to get' list.
The little Halo 3 trailer also looks good, and it will be something I buy. But I do hope it will have some sweet new additions. I loved the first Halo as it was so new and different, the second one was good... But just not good enough I felt, shocking as it may seem i've still not completed Halo 2.
Did anyone watch the 'Gears of war' trailer? Damn that looks good, I think i'll be keeping an eye on that one.
Dead Rising looks a heap load of fun too, but i think i'll wait to play a demo before rushing out and buying that one just in-case.
And as for 'The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth'.. I'm very much looking forward to this game, now forgive me if i'm wrong but was this not the game that hit the PC a few years ago and got rave reviews? Either way this looks right up my street.
Another one that will be getting brought would have to be 'Lost Planet', i've watched the videos, played the demo and love the look, feel and gameplay of this little gem. Lets hope it lives up to the hype. And that there is some Live! gameplay.
And it seem we will be treated to 'Grand Theft Auto IV' without having to wait a year after its released on the PS3. Now that does sound good, will have to wait and see on this one tho.
So from what i've had time to watch or play so far I'd have to slip these ones on my 'Must have!' list:

* Fable II,

* Gears of War,
* Halo III.

call of duty 3 and brothers in arms: hells highway are by far the best two games on there. plus uno. need some fuckin MS points to buy the full version though. halo3 trailer can kiss my ass. i could make a better trailer without a computer lol _________________ XBOX

Also the cross platform gaming was sweet. Major Nelsen was on vista and got an invite from the an Xbox 360 to play some FPS game.

Yea I was told by a friend that after the trailer for Halo 3 was shown they showed some footage and it showed how the new engine, shaders, lighting system etc, makes a difference. (The trailer is actually in game footage) And that they got MC to jump off that cliff he was standing on.. Ive been looking for the video online but havn't been able to find it, any hear of this?

From what I heard each press affiliate got to control master the trailer basically, they could walk around as master chief, they could move the camera in any fashion they wanted, to show that everything was in fact real time. I don't know of any pictures of this part even, much less a video. _________________

i havent seen any other video than the one they have on the marketplace. i didnt like it that much because you just see master chief and he looks at a hole in the ground opening up. the graphics look amaznig but they couldve shown master chief kickin some ET ass _________________ XBOX

They also say in bungie.net that the covies are in leage with the MC.
I also seen the H3 trailer and I think that the clip that was shown was (sh*t I forgot her name, the person who talks to the MC and hacks into the covies system) that computer chick showing the MC the future if he fails. she's trying to say that its all over if he fails.
Just think about it. Why would the covies run from the arc, (well thats what I think it is, that opens) it's their salvation, why run? I reckon the covies finaly figure it out when they activate it and try to escape.
But thats just my opinion anyway.
Oh and does anyone know where to DL Fable 2 tralier? I loved the 1st one!
