just thought id give you all a heads up and let you know to definately check out codemasters new engine for "Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising"..
I seen some of the single player campaign today and i have to say its a positive.. the game seems to be a mix between cod, battlefield and rainbow six with lots of tactical stuff and extras to boot.

Put it this way, just say your cruising along doing your mission then all of a sudden a sniper shoots you from about 1km or so away but he missed and hits you in the leg.. That means you can't run anymore through the level since you have leg damage and it slows you down a shitload.
You can't just take out a enemy with a few body shots either, its gotta be a headshot otherwise you will be there all day shooting into his body armour.
I have only had like 10 minutes so far to check it out and im very impressed.
The engine was well worth the $21USD Million dollars or something codemasters invested.. Cross between cod & battlefield graphics with alot of rainbow six gadgetry + more. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:
