Well I finally rented street fighter 4 today since I bought street fighter 2 for my SNES over the weekend and have been playing that non stop. Popped in the game and I really haven't liked it as much as 2 so far.
First off, the Ha-Do-kun doesn't sound nearly as cool as it does in SF2. I know that isn't a huge deal, but I love hearing it when I play SF2. Also, the fighting seems slower and more stiff with the next gen graphics. Also, ryu looks less like he should compared to what he looks like in SF2.
Now I know these aren't huge deals but I feel that SF4 is too distant in the feel that a game like SF2 has. I will admit I probably like the classics much more than I should, and absolutely hate when a game changes. _________________________________________________________

I agree that the game is completely different, think they planned it that way, but it does look nice. The thing i hate most is the final boss, he just doesn't fit into the game at all, they should have put him in a marvel game. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

poppycock! lol! nah your right darth the hadokens dont have the impact as they did in the original, and seth is the most annoying boss ive faced in years everyone i know absolutely HATEs him. ill have to dig my sness and sf2 out to give it a direct comparission, but going by what u say yeah it is a tads slower and a little clunky but since getting it on release and playing it ALOT with friends i still think its an awesome game, then i have followed the series for years and personally 3rd strike was one of my faves, look into the focus attacks and cancelling them, and ex cancelling, i wrote a advanced tech guide on here some where check it out there might be something there useful...if not ill have to rewrite it!
So after playing it some more I'm calling it a rent game. I don't think this game is good enough to justify buying in my mind.
I'll just stick to SF 2. Does anyone now how good the SF 2 turbo HD remix is? _________________________________________________________

It is ok. if you like super street fighter 2 you will like this (has DJ, Cammy, Bruce Lee, the american indian, akuma and the all the original characters). The only thing is that you don't get any points, so no high scores, and there are no bonus rounds.
