I recently started playing this game. I have seen it on the shelves for a while now and figured i would give it a try. I haven't been in the gaming mood lately after beating resident evil 5. Things have been slow in the gaming world i guess so i figured i'd give an RPG a try.

i must say this is probably one of the BEST games i have ever played. Not RPG genre, i'm talking ANY GAME. I have played quite a few games and i always find something about a game that really peaks my interest. This game, however, amazes me. I can't imagine why other games have not done these very simple things that make this game so great.

1. SEAMLESS CINEMATIC INTEGRATION

I mean how many times have you waited for a loading screen to finish so you can watch some amazing cinematic explanation of the storyline. It seems with MASS EFFECT there is no waiting. I have already garnered ten hours on this game and have not seen one loading screen last more than 4 seconds!

2. AMAZING GRAPHICAL ANAMOLIES

I just love the magic system it uses. and being able to do a semi-turn based fighting AND realtime fighting is awesome. I like being able to make my characters use thier magic as i see fit and also use guns and melee. But the graphics used for the explosions are VERY VERY colorful and wideranged.

3. CONTINUOUS CONVERSATION FLOW

THIS IS A BIG HUGE LARGER THAN LIFE PLUS!!! I like not having to read 10 different responses i can give. I like being able to read 3 words for the three different choices i have. I also like being able to choose what i want to say BEFORE the person is done talking. This makes for a seamless conversation that REALLY adds to the conversation. This has provided a much needed flow to conersations in RPGs

I just don't understand how other games have not attempted this. maybe i don't know of another but off the top of my head I can't think of any other games that do this with such precision.

this is a great game and i recogmend anyone try this for a GREAT gaming experience.

I'm not all that far into the game but I just can't get into it like I could with oblivion and fallout. It just has too slow of a gameplay style for me to continue with it.

Keep playing darth, it starts off slow to get you used to it and then it starts to go a bit mental when the geth start popping up everywhere.

All in all a top notch game

yeah definately keep playing darth. This game is amazing. I can't stop playing it. this is probably the first game i'm actually doing ALL the side quests just because its so fun to see the cinematics blended with the actual gameplay so seamless.

i just don't see how other games have not done this. or if they have, what games are they?

Mass effect has that annoying texture loading thing as the cut-scene is playing.

It happens on mine and all of my friends xboxes. When you flying into the giant city thing the first time the textures on the sides of the walls load once your already flying in.
