Its a great game but there are loads of problems.I cant progress any further in the main story cause there are glitched dungeons that wont open-this sux,trust me Im over 40 hours in and I have to start over.Oh and this isnt just the 360 version,I saw posts on the pc version where people were stuck in the exact same place-Miscarcand,and its not just that spot Ive seen 2 other spots myself and read dozens of posts from people who cant get through elven ruins because the switches wont work for them-this sucks
Sounds a little like achievements in Kameo... had to start over to get ones I'd earned, but wasn't credited for.

Are you saying M$ doesn't have a QA process for Xbox 360 games??? I thought they did, but I guess I must be mistaken. "can" unfortunately does not equal "will", or at the very least, "can" does not equal "will in a timely fashion". They've known about the Kameo problem since November. If they've fixed it, I haven't heard (and it took them months to do it).

Didn't say that but it is the developers responsibility to make the game and make it right not Microsoft. It is hardly crap work. I am glad I have it. I did hear the PC version has issues as well. Is Microsoft supposed to check that to? It would take too long for Microsoft to thoroughly test a game like this anyways. This game blows the old Morrowind out of the water in terms of being near glitch free. That doesn't mean it doesn't have any.
We all pressured Bethesda to release the game and I am not sorry I have it. I was dying to play it. Hell I'll go buy another copy. All I was saying is the complaints can be addressed. There is no reason to boycott this excellent game. As for Kameo, another game I really like and I can't explain why but this is completely Microsoft responsibility since they published it. However, I have not had any issues with Kameo and have played quite a bit. I'll have to go see what everyone is saying about it. I'm sorry it messed up on you and others. I hope it doesn't happen to me. Still they can fix it.
One gripe I have witch goes a little along these lines is the seemingly slowness of the xbox games getting supported on 360. It must really be tough. That one I don't get.
So yes Microsoft does have to get their act together!

This was posted on the 3rd. WHAT!?! not an April fools. Oblivion is one of the best games I've played!
I probably won't buy it simply because that genre is generally "not my cup of tea".
I'm sorry, but I must insist that Microsoft EARN its royalties and actually do something to protect us from crap games. I'm not saying Oblivion is a crap game, but certainly sounds like there may be "issues" that need prompt addressing. To my knowledge, this hasn't occurred with Kameo.
For the record, I only expect Microsoft to ensure the quality of PC game that run on Windows OSs, not Linux nor Mac. *
For 60 fnckin' dollars, I expect SOMEONE to fix the bugs promptly... and I don't call 5 months "prompt".
I think the publisher's main job is to make money and I think its Microsoft's job to protect us from "flawed" games. The publisher's are too busy trying to put out the next flawed game and don't seem too interested in supporting the games they've already released.
Don't even bring up the backwards compatibility issue! MICROSOFT NEVER TRULY INTENDED TO MAKE XBOX GAMES PLAYABLE ON THE XBOX 360!!! What have they succeeded in making compatible in the past 3 months? Looking at Xbox.com's list, the only new games this year are "BLACK", "Star Wars Battlefront™ II", and that top-seller "World Soccer Winning Eleven 9". Sure, they'll throw us a bone from time-to-time, but the Xbox 360 WILL NEVER BE TRULY BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE, so Microsoft might as well just be honest about it and say so. I have noticed that they've hidden this claim better... I had to dig to find it this time, where it used to have a prominent place on the Xbox.com's Xbox 360 hardware page.
