I was on xlink the other day and a couple of guys were talking about a modchip that had been developed for the 360 and is xbox live playable. Has anyone else heard about this?

yea it doesnt exist. the guys on there probably read a bogus story and are spreading it to everyone. anyway when a chip does come out you will probably find out about it here

Yea, I wouldn't believe it unless you actually see it. They probably was talking about the recent scandal involving guys saying they made a chip for it. It was false and the dispute was closed on it.

maybe youre thinking of those guys that modded the dvd rom to read backups without a hotswap. they arent releasing any info on how to do it although another website is trying to find out how to do it and release it. hopefully fuckin M$ wont make a patch for it lol
