Well, I haven't gone into live until a while ago. Silver allowed you to play games online with featured limitations. I understand that xbox users were required to pay if they were both silver and gold memberships. Now my cousins, months ago, tell me that silver is free now. However i read on a blog couple weeks ago that XBL launched the "free XBL on weekends" deal. Is this still ongoing?
Is silver free or not? My cousin played with a 1 month gold, but im not sure if he still can play online with a silver. I searched up many forums and the official 360 XBL account info as well as Google and blogs from different spans of the years are confusing me.
Can silver create/join/host multiplayer games? And what else?
Silver has always been free. Silver is able to play on weekends and holidays only I think, and cannon't download content from live marketplace. _________________________________________________________

hmmmm. I suppose ill stick to silver until break.
Well I think you can get some content but you can't get demo's or game addons (not 100% sure before I've never had silver). _________________________________________________________

Alright. Ill wait for a year until one of my cousins finally get silver.
