Well I plugged up those Green Red and Blue cord so I switch the back of the 360 to HDTV. I cut off my whole system and gives me the 3 Red Rings. Is their anything I can do to get it back running. It would blink all 4 once then after that goes to 3 Red Rings.

So it works fine when you have it plugged in through the SDTV side? But you get 4 blinking lights and then it goes to 3ROD when its on HDTV?

Also what secondary error code do you get when you get the 3ROD?

Here is how to tell

[quote]
- Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
- Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
- The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
- Release the eject button and press it again.
- The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
- Release the eject button and press it again.
- The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
- Release the eject button and press it again.
- The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
- Release the eject button and press it again.
- The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.

You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.

Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:

* All four lights flashing - 0
* One light flashing - 1
* Two Lights flashing - 2
* Three lights flashing - 3

I got a new TV for my room recently on Christmas. So I took out the Yellow and White Red. And plugged up the Green Red and Blue. And I thought that was for the HD so I flipped it and BAM 3 Red Lights. The flashing order is 0,0,2,0.

Alright,

So you get a 0020, this error isn't known yet so you might have to send it in.

Do you get the error all the time even if is on standard definition and high definition. Or just when it is on HDTV. If you get it all the time it could just be pure chance that you got a RROD the same time you go to set up your HDTV.

Any other questions feel free to ask

I just tried it out Randomly while playing Ninja Gaiden II. So I Decide to flip it. I thought my TV was HD. Well it is since it has HDMI on the back of it. Well on my Standard TV I use the Yellow White Red components all the time. On my new TV I notice a Delay especially playing Fable II and Gears of War 2. So I looked on the back of my TV and found the Green Blue Red input so I put those in and it worked fine with no delay. (Knowing how Humans work. Discover one thing and you want to advance. You try more things.) But everything worked normal till I flipped the Switch.

So what your saying is you get 3ROD all the time now?

If that is the case then your going to have to call Microsoft and get them to exchange it for you.
