Dude, this OS sucks badly. Every game i either try to play or install backfires. First, I tried using my Counterstrike awhile back and it runs it slow (maybe a firewall or something) then i got star wars galaxies and it installs but doesnt launch the game anytime i click to launch the game and then i recently got spore and it goes through the whole installing process, but for some reason, it doesnt appear on the desktop when it's done, so when i go to my disk to launch the game, it doesnt even launch it shows the loading circle mouse bar and then it dissapears and does nothing. Do i have something blocking me from playing games or something?

Trying running the games in Windows XP compatibility mode.

The thing with vista is that it sucks. You have to click yes 3 times to make a new folder for gods sake. When I get a new computer XP is going on it.

Lmao 3 times are u wacked bud... Right Click then Select New Folder and then your done ha.

Anyways DrFunk1986 What Version of Windows Vista do you have. What is your graphics Card Ram Ect... Make sure that if your runing Vista Ultimate 64bit or any 64bit to get there service pack update. Make sure all your graphics card and all that have there recent updates. Even the 32bit ones have new service pack updates now too.

There in the process of making another Windows O/S Very soon here so XP is going to be like Windows 2000 soon here if they keep making a new O/S every couple Years.

Also if you are getting sick of open up items all the time and having to click ok as a admin all the time there is a way to get rid of that too.

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/

I leave mine on because it dont really bother me as it would others plus its a added security feature that i like, that programs can not be open unless i actually click on them and not all them use it as i set some programs up separate by right clicking on them and runing them as admin that way in the future i wont get that message as it already knows i want to run it as a admin app.

I was able to run a lot of games on mine like the new 007 game, spore and wow and a lot of other games with ease and i have the great old Vista Ultimate 64bit that everyone hates ha. There is very few programs that will not run on it now after the service pack update. The main one is i have not been able to flash a xbox 360 on this type of vista but any others is ok hope they can make it fully work with the vista 64bit operating system. But anyways hope that helps with your problems like i said try updating everything and you should get it to go. Even now there is places out there that can tell you if the game will work on your computer or not, there is some program u download i cant remember what it is but it gets all your computer info like O/S, Ram, Graphics and all that and tells u if it will work, just have to do some googleing thats all.

On my friend computer it does this. Click new folder. Asks if you would like to allow this process to happen, click yes. Then the screen tints black and asks if you you like to continue the process, press continue. Then I makes the folder and asks for a name. Then you type the name and it asks if you want to allow the process again, click yes. Black tint again and you have to click continue. Then the folder is made. Thats 4 clicks lol.

I'd say that was spot on lol. Well you don't really need a crazy good computer because mine could run vista fairly well and its 5 years old.
