Yea I know it seems like it's been scrapped but just wanted to get a convo going, maybe speculations. You guys think Peter Jackson will still direct or something and how do you think the storylie should go? They're planning on making Master Chief more of a side character since he doesnt talk but I think they can work around this (they did it in the books with superb story telling). I think parts of the movie should be narrorated kind of like the story being told as if it has already happened. Yes I would like it if they did make Halo into a movie and I think they could really make a good movie of it and also Master Chief does talk a little bit but he only says what he needs to say and that's it... Well as they say actions speak louder than words. Also the terminator never said much either and that worked out huge.
Haven't read the books yet but I am looking into it... How many of them are there?

Great question Crazy -Taxguy. There's actually a whole bunches of the Halo novels out. There's graphic ones where it's got pictures of the guy and there's like blood and guts falling out and detailed photos that make you hold your stomach and then there's the ones with no pictures which make you ponder what's going on or having to use your imagination and immerse yourself into the novel. Simply to put it taxiguy, there's alot. Depends on what you want to read. I would love to see a movie made but only if it's made well. Hate to have these big budget movies made and to go and see them and stand in line to find out they spent all that money to have a real crappy product come out, I'd be like "Hey, why didn't they just choose me to be the Chiefs real cool sidekick that gets all the chicks and is like never saying anything much but real cool short lines that makes all the girls go crazy and the guys want to be like me". Anyways, I think we're on the same page Taxiguy, check out some places like Amazon to see which ones you like. You'd probably be best starting off with Fall of Reach which explains all the origins of how the Spartans were created and trained. More like the begginings of the entire Halo franchise.

Yeah agreed with the whole if it is made it better not be crap.
I will have to look into the books I'm not a huge reading person but if they are good enough I will definately give them a go.
