I was wondering if I were to buy a broken xbox 360 from someone with a intact warranty sticker when I call and give microsoft the number on the back of the xbox will they have it listed down as that persons name or does it not matter?

I don't think it matters. All you have to do is tell Microsoft you bought this 360 used and it broke, I've never heard of that being a problem before.

If the person you bought it fom has registered it, then it will cost to get fixed as the warranty will only be available for them.

If you go on the website and register it for repair, if an error comes up then it has more than likely been registered.
