If your on xbox live i would say its lagg, if your playing games offline it sounds like your dvd laser is getting weaker/dieing and need to be replaced.

could you describe it a bit better on whats going on, like what game your running, what resolution your running, etc

and does it only happen for one game, if you could post some screenshots that might help us help you out more

I think he means like the game is stuttering. In old games like doom you had a cheat that would let you walk through walls and that was called clipping but it sounds more like a stutter than a clip.

youre right on the money darth, it does sound like his laser is getting weak.

Anyway Swede if you want to try the reset (which I dont reckon will fix it) the do the following, go to the system blade of your 360 and select restore factory defaults.

Or you could try to clear the cache on the hard drive (also dont think this will make a big difference)

Go to the system blade and then select memory, Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X.
Once you do this a messsage will appear saying "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?" Select yes and let it do all the work from there.

*** Doing this will delete all of your updates for games, but will not delete any of your system updates ***

If I play BioShock my 'guy' run 1-2 steps stops for a bref time (1/20 sec or some ting like that) then runs 2-3 step and stops (1/20 sec) so if I run across a room it is like some one is having a hickups The pictires is clipping (jerking, stop & go, stutter, like the time you are in a disko and the run the fast flashing ligt) the 'guy' and I get totaly lost I expect the 'guy' to run acros the room and it is stop, go, stop, go. it is like gou puching the stick forward and backward like you have spasm in your hand.
It is an orginal 360, 20 gigs HD, 1 year old, runing it to my Tatung 1080P, max cooling with the biggest cooling system in the back.
I hope that would help.

BTW some one told me to restart the 360 and holding down "a" key to flush the 360... I think I do right but it dose not work for me....

and Thanks Game_Mattster I will try that....

sounds like to me the cache is full, i've had problems like that (not as severe) with bioshock and i cleared the cache and it was fine

how to do it

Go to the system blade and then select memory.

Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices? select yes

note *this will delete your updates but you can download them again from xbox live so no big deal

*another thought* do you have the latest patch for bioshock that could be a problem too
