Started work on a case mod. Thought I would leave a journal and show my progress, might be intresting.

Cut the case window out, rough sand. Got to cut out a heart over the cpu area of the case. Its a cut out for an xcm fan that will be installed later.

Spent about 4 hours on this. Tomorrow expect to have the heart cut, and the final sanding done.

The case will have plexi, purple leds, purple cold cathode, white end caps, white hdd, and going to see if i can keep all the holes on the case white. Going to plug them up and paint. Would like to keep them white. The main color will be purple. The plexi will have a frosted heart border.

Lastly will have a sata mod, to make it easy to flash.

Just showed the wife, she strutted off with her nose in the air like she's the shite. LOL You should be getting it anytime now. I think this journal log is a GREAT idea. It will give users a roots progression of how things are done and may even inspire some to get crackin' on their own. Way to push the envelope for owners to get even MORE out of their investment AND the site.

3 CHEERS!!

Got the heart cut out. Shape took a bit to draw up. Got to finish the sanding, and cut out the xclamp window on the other half of the case tomorrow.

Finished up the sanding part of it. Thought id throw it on a 360 to see how it looks.

Thanks, this is my first time with plastic, so the cutting part was a bit hard at first. But the heart didnt take me much at all to remove.

Just finished up cutting and sanding the x-clamp window. I didn't feel like taking apart a 360 that had x-clamps still in place. Just grabbed a 360 I'm working on for a friend with the x-clamp replacement mod.

Cool work man, I want to mod mine so bad, customize the case and water cool it. The only thing holding me back is that it has a long warrenty and this being my second box, I know there is a very good chance I may need to use that warrenty again. But if I come up with some extra cash and can pick up a second used one maybe I will go for it.
Does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade the 360's performance? like raiding a second video processor to have 2 working together, increasing ram or a way to increase the FPS of a game?
