Well I play X-Box Live a lot (more than I should). Well I've noticed that there are more than the fair share of meat heads on COD 3. Well most of these get an avoid rep from me for quiting early or cursing.
Well one of these players was cursing and talking down to the other players on our team. Well I put him on the AVOID player rep. Well next ranked game I join there he is.
How does the Rep work? If I avoid someone and he is in the next game I play (and several games after that) what is the purpose of AVOIDING him? Is it a personal reference for other people? And input would be nice. Thanks. _________________________________________________________ At ease soldier.

It is indeed supposed to make him less likely to be picked when searching for other players, but it won't just boot them from a lobby or whatever. Basically means that after you exit that session, you shouldn't play with him again unless he is one of the few that are using the same custom game settings that you are. _________________________________________________________

Ive noticed the same issue too..
You always met one idiot and want to get rid of them but the options just never seem to work no matter how many guys you have in the game..
Hopefully they will sort this out soon.. As i know plenty of guys who dont want to play certain users too.. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I know what you are saying but in a game where there are hundereds of thousands of players online we get grouped up in ranked matches (which I did a random match, on COD 3 you just can't keep playing with the same team. After the match is over you have to join a new one.) one right after another, even after I avoided him. The system is flawed.
I'm not asking that they boot him from the lobby. I'm asking that if we pick the same custom map settings that the game I am in won't show up to him and visa versa. Or maybe if you are joining a game one of those pop-ups, like when your friends log on, say so-so is in this game or something. _________________________________________________________ At ease soldier.

You are being a bit of a muppet seeing as you are in the Underground zone. The Underground isnt meant to just sound like a cool zone to play in, it really does mean ANYTHING goes as it says when you select your zone. You dont like it then change zones m8. People who leave bad rep while playing in the Underground zone should be banned from the zone. Use a different zone.

whats the point of having a rep then.. I still think they would be idiots even if i was in another zone and playing them.. I know anything goes but there is a limit no matter what you think, go read the fine print on the M$ site..
I couldnt care less for swearing and carrying on etc but there is some things i cant stand like people praising alah while im trying to play.. That just sends me crazy.. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

LOL well nothing can be done about Alah i suppose, In my opinion, if people get 50% + avoided rep, they should automatically goto the underground Zone, leaving others zones idiot free. I didnt mean stupid remarks or anything, but I was playing with a m8 on my own server the other night, we killed each other say 3-4 times and carried on with the game, someone left us bad rep. This is what I mean about people playing in the wrong zone.

This has been nagging me for a while but what do the zones have to do with anything? Every game I play I get group with people from every zone. Not like I play in the pro zone and only get hooked up with pro zone players. I get the full array or zones. So if someone it cursing and carrying on and I see they are in the underground zone does that mean I don't need to send them negative rep?
Wow it's like the whole system if flawed or not meant to mean a thing. It just lets your fellow gamers know that your on a family account or you don't like to loose.
I could see if I was in the underground zone playing with fellow undergrounders how it might seem like a good idea. And it's not a good idea if you are underground and trash talk, which is ok in that zone I guess, and someone who lets their kids play, in the family zone, won't want their kids to hear that stuff sends you neg rep that effects your game. _________________________________________________________ At ease soldier.

I agree with you, to an extent. At the moment there are not enough players to justify classifying them in there pre determend choice of pro, underground so on. But I think perhaps as more and more xbox players and other gamers move onto the 360 platform, perhaps they will stick categories together. But at the moment I cant nix M$ for how they do it. Think if they did segregate players to their categories, how empty the online listings would be for you.
Do I think it needs improvement, definitively, it has ruined Gow for me. I refuse to play it due to all the kids, that ruin the online experience. All I can say is that perhaps with time it will get better.
