i'm looking around the xbox360.com for routers and i saw the list, but my question is can any router be used (i'm looking for wired not wireless) by jujst changing the dns servers and all...
i'm not that savvy in networking so i'm unsure how that all works....
any help would be appreciated....

Most any router will work, no dns changing or anything required, you possibly would need to "forward ports" to the 360 from the internet, but most of the time you won't even need to do that. I would just search on www.newegg.com and see if you can find one, D-Link, NetGear, Linksys, all pretty good. _________________________________________________________

Hi deps,
Like sjohn mentioned it doesnt exactly matter which one you choose.. They are all fairly straight forward to setup to.
If you have any issues you can just ask for a hand here on 360-hq.
I myself have plenty of experience setting up routers etc but i doubt you'll need it.
