What the mother @#%@#% was Gate thinking? Here is my issue...
I have a 360 upstairs, been having a blast, then came Viva Pinata. Every morning I wake and get ready for work, come out of the shower and my daughter is playing Viva Pinata. I get home from work and my wife is playing Viva Pinata. I get ready for bed and sneak out to play my 360 and the wife is still on. SO...
I go to the store and I buy 360 #2 and get it hooked up to my theater in the basement, looks great, all is well. Then I "recover my profile". God knows I do not want to be in the basement rackin up them gamerscores and then come upstairs and log in and not have my achievements. So, I am downstairs playing, everything is happy, and I come back upstairs and the wife is bitching cause when she tries to log into XBL it tells her that the profile data is corrupt.
So I recover my profile upstairs and then the downstairs no longer works. God Damn it!!! So, here is what I have learned in the meantime.
1. You cannot copy a profile to a memory card, you have to MOVE it, which takes it off the existing machine.
2. You cannot copy game data to a memory card, so the game data associated with a profile seems to be forever attached to that profile.
3. Seems you cannot have your profile recovered to two places at once, it is either be happy downstairs, or be happy upstairs, not both.
Has anyone else ran into this situation? Any answers? The good people at Microsoft Support are one step shy of retardation, they have actually gotten me farther from my goal then closer. Is there a way to copy gamesaves through FTP or something?

If you have a memory card, you can purchase the Datel Adapter and use Xplorer 360 in order to copy the profile to your pc, then move it to one console, copy it from the pc to the card again and move it to the other profile, it should work without trouble as far as in game actions. You however can only be signed into live on one console at a time. This is so that you can't cheat the system and more than one person have live for free basically. _________________________________________________________
