hey gentleman,
I just successful installed a nme 1.2 on a sammy drive with ms25 firmware. Everything appears ok... havent been able to test a backup yet. I didnt have a digi camera to take pics. But, in the near future i will make a tutorial for it as there are many questions about the install. I intend on posting some good pics of the soldering and a better idea of where the points are. As for people asking where to place the chip? I put it on top of the drive with electrical tape underneath and taped it across the top. Everything looks to be working fine if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me.

anyway, thats good news for others looking to install the NME chip.. I have the aladdin 360mod installed myself so i can help with that chip (not that anyone should need it.. ).. Its a cheap mod..
Any word on that tut? I am getting ready to install ,but havent open the xbox yet. ( yeah, im still scared ) The tut that underdog has, is so not informative and confusing. Im no pro at soldering but I'm not to bad either and it seems that if I had more details and/or pics, it would help out alot!
