Anyone have some suggestions on how to beat RAAM in Gears, he's really is owning me right now.. _________________ Xbox V1.3

I had to try every bit of probably 20 times to beat him, on casual. Don't forget that when he has the Kryll around him he can't be hurt, also remember when in the light the Kryll can't hurt you(actually they killed me several times while I was in the light, that was frustrating), anyways just wait for him to send them to you, shoot him in the head as many times as possible, then rinse and repeat, if he gets too close, hop across and run to the other barrier. _________________

Personally i find it much easier just to stay at the first wall you come to for protection.. Wait for him to send his minions out and then shoot him in the head.. Stay in the light and dont run around..
If your lucky he will get stuck on a glitch and wont move on that very first barrier... If not just jump the other side and keep killing him.

I literally jst beat him on hardcore....i used a combination of both the Bow and The Sniper like gun....duno what the hell they call it in the game ...anyways.....shoot him with the bow... the Kryll will Disperseand then shoot him with the Sniper (in the head if you can). i was lucky and he got stuck....you may not be so lucky....Good Luck!

I was trying to kill him for about an hour the other night, started to swear at the TV and throw my control (no broken TV unlike some Wii owners ).
At thet point i thought i'd better stop playing, thanks for the tip on using the bow and sniper rifle i'll give that a go,

i finally beat RAAM in casual. pain in the A** . it took 10 head shots from the sniper rifle . and 3 granedes . and 3 arrows to kill him so if anyone needs this type of info im going to hardcore now gotta be much easier now that i konw what im going up against . later _________________ HQ Lord Nikon 1b4

Tried a bit of co-op lat night with my brother, great fun but, why the hell did they only have one save slot.
In the single player game i was at RAAM after playing with my brother on Co-Op i back at the beginning of stage three and am going to have re-play stage three and four to get back to were i was in the single player game _________________

Is wierd when you are playing co-op as DOM the checkpoints are not saved but any new acts unlocked are, so if you get halfway through act 3 you can restar from the beginning of act 3 not from the checkpoint...... odd. _________________ I live to play........ and i play to live

I played co-op on Hardcore and Raam was definitely easier to beat when its co-op. I as Marcus just stayed at the first cover area while my friend went to the opposite cover area in the light. Both of us had sniper rifles. It seemed like Raam didn't know who to attack. He just kept sending his Kryll and took turns shooting at us but he was never successful. For every time he was "open" we laid 6 sniper rifle shots to his head. We finally beat him when he advanced towards me and I shot him point blank to the head just as he fired his weapon. That was the only gut-wrenching part as I was reloading when he was walking towards me.
I tried playing the game on Insane but couldn't even get past the first stage of the first act by myself. I think co-op is the only way to go if one is to try playing on Insane level. _________________ I love my white and chrome 360!

+what I do is load up on bow ammo and sniper, then sit behind first wall and start with bow, and lay them into him as fast as possible, one after the other, krill or not, the bow will scare them away. once all bows are used up i switch to sniper head shots, when he gets close like 15 ft away blind throw all your nades quickly. then back to sniper if he is still alive, I was abel to kill him on insane by myself with out having to move from first wall, but just bairly,
also learn to blind shoot for when he is close, I take a pistol and stand away from a wall and fire off a few blind shots then with a marker, mark the bullet impacts area on my screen to make my own riticule for blind shooting.
and last but not least , make every shoot count, dont miss a single shot, you need all the bows damage you can get and if you miss he just gets closer with less damage,
and if you still cant do it, you can go on to youtube and see videos of people beating raam, just put in a search for " raam gow" or "raam xbox"

If I were you I would just skip right to insane lvl. you will not notice much difference between the two. only your health will go down just a little faster but not much.

I got all the way to Generall RAMM on insane on my own but just couldn't beat him. In the end i started a co-op game and managed to kill him as he got stuck behind a block.
Kind of feel i cheated doing it this way as i didn't do it on my own and all i had to do was shoot duck and shoot again no need to try and avoid him. _________________
