You can try to manually eject the drive using a paper clip, then try to get it into mode b, other than that if it doesn't work may have a bricked drive. Do you still have the original backup of the firmware when you first flashed it? If so you can extract the drive key from that and try to find another hitachi drive to work with. _________________________________________________________

sometimes when you force the drive open, it will basically put it into mode b, and you can then flash it, not sure if it would work for you but it's worth a try.
Not real sure on where to get a replacement drive, could try ebay or maybe www.llamma.com they may have some not sure tho. _________________________________________________________
