im gettin a error 64.....i went to flash my hatichi dvd 47d drive and when i git to the part when i had to restore the firewire my power cut off......bad luck or somethine but can somebody please help me......or tell me something good please

Is your drive still being recognised when you try to connect with your pc to reflash it again? Let us know as much info as possible and we will all do our best to help!

ummm no i can not get in mode b anymore....Sad.....please help.....i just got though everything rite and when i tried to restore the power went out....but i cant get in mode b my pc wont read it is there anything i can do though my xbox 360 it self to help my drive.....sorry i took to long but i work now:((

You can try to manually eject the drive using a paper clip, then try to get it into mode b, other than that if it doesn't work may have a bricked drive. Do you still have the original backup of the firmware when you first flashed it? If so you can extract the drive key from that and try to find another hitachi drive to work with.

i do have the key....and the firmwire.....so youre tellin me thati can just make windows read my drive by ejectin my drive with a pin.....but did i have to restore my firmwire before the power when out......because i wanted until it said all done.....i just didnt restore yet or did i have to?

sometimes when you force the drive open, it will basically put it into mode b, and you can then flash it, not sure if it would work for you but it's worth a try.

Not real sure on where to get a replacement drive, could try ebay or maybe www.llamma.com they may have some not sure tho.

ok but when it said all done......was i suppose to restore me firmwire withg the restore.bat or was i finished? cuzz i did all the steps but i didnt restore the firmwire.......tell me please

ok i know how to fix bricked hitachi drives.....mine went from a e64 error to a e65 error.....i did somethin call a hot swap....with a sata to ide adapter.....but you need a xeno.....to put the drive into mode b
