Just read the news item about the survey MS conducted, lots of nice ideas but the one that stood out to me was the one below,

I just love the fact that people would actually respond yes to this question, MS want you to pay them to test there games.
I have no problem with beta games being put on live, but why should we pay for them. This sort of charging would eventually lead to having to pay for a demo.

Yes, Exactly why should we pay to beta test for them.
We are doing them the service of testing..
Really i think M$ should offer testers something for their time rather then asking them to pay...

I was at a seminar in Toronto about 6years ago that was on the Electronic Nervous System and at the Q&A period someone asked Bill Gates why Microsoft released Windows with so many bugs (huge applause from the crowd) and he basically said that they like to use the public to find the bugs.
i think that microsoft needs me to test all the games they come out with(except all the crappy ones) and pay me a nice salary to do it _________________________________________________________ XBOX

well for 15 hours i was at walmart waiting for the ps3. i was number 14 in line. 2 people got 60 gigs, 8 people got vouchers, then 2 people got 20 gigs, then there was another voucher open. then the kid who got the 20 couldnt pay so i got his 20 gig and resistance: fall of man. i was so lucky but i was pissed cause my 2 friends behind me stayed the whole night just as long as me plus like 4 other people behind them did. my friends and i were pissed as hell. one of em stormed out and did a huge burnout in front of walmart. the least that walmart could do was tell them last night so they didnt stay for no fuckin reason or put them on a waiting list like the other people. anyway i got the ps3 and the game on ebay
