LMAO you thank me for my pro GPU advice but dont follow it LMAO. YES I advocated the 7950/70 as the best card to buy. But like Ive told you a billion times, youre not a hardcore PC gamer, you dont have the will to become a hardcore PC gamer so its a money burn. You dont need an A+ card to do C- shit lol.
And of course Hellblazer and I give great AMD/ATI advice. Were Canucks, ATI before AMD bought them out was a Canuck company. Our patriotic loyalty though only goes so far. We also know quality.

Like I gathered from our talks and what I conveyed to you a CPU upgrade not GPU is what you need. The current upgrade is kinda like putting a Ferrari engine into a care with no wheels and expecting it to go fast. If what you run now doesnt stress your current GPU then a GPU upgrade WILL NOT show you any advantage. You are not gonna get some magic crystal clear, awakening view going from a 5770-7950 when playing games like GTA4 etc. I seriously hope you embrace PC gaming Ken, cause a 7950 IS PC gaming. Thatr cards only purpose is to show why RES EVIL or GTA (etc) is so much better on PC than Console.

Ken that's a fine choice (7970) even if you don't need all the power.
My next computer is going to be 4 SLI or 4 crossfire. I have not read anything yet on what that will require but the case I am using will have 2 1000 watt power supplies (with custom tweak). My current PC has 2 GTX 560 Ti in SLI and it works so nice but I decided I'm going all out with the new PC.
I just hope AMD graphics cards can do 4 cards in crossfire! That is a very good card, you will have no problems keeping up with new games for a while. As long as you have good Ram and CPU, otherwise those things can bottleneck or hold the card back.
I have a 6950 and can still run all games at full graphics and resolution, but it is just playable at those settings which is why I play at 1360 x 760 (or something like that) and only use 1920 x 1080 when I plan to record and post a video.
On Battlefield 3 at 1920 x 1080, Ultra and Running my Video record program which kills my fps by 30%, I end up playing at an average of 24fps. I have seen the card you are getting running at same settings and recording and averaging anywhere from 60 to 70+ fps.
So for that price that is a very good card that will serve you well.
I am looking into building a new PC, this new one a Work Station. I am really getting into Video editing and CGI work. I have some great CGI programs I have just started to learn and want a PC that can handle that work. My PC is great for gaming but for editing and Rendering it is a slow poke.
Work stations are new to me so I feel like I did when I was just starting to learn how to make a PC for gaming and not knowing what was what.
