it looks the same size as a 360, its two discs wide.

did they overclock the cpu, they didnt upgrade the hardware did they?

idk in these labs they probably have air conditioning etc, i hope they have failsafes to protect the console, as most people have their houses quite warm.

and aussie in summer will be the biggest test.

hello, I back from an overload of work lol.

Here's a neat video about the xbox one labs. I was reading some article with a tour of the labs and how they do all the trouble shooting and stress testing and they have a special room just for temperature testing. At the the time they were setup for 40 or less degrees F and they do high temps too. They know what this baby can handle for sure this time. Can't find that article sorry...

40C is for faggots LMAO. My original XBOX goes as high as 68C no issue. So if 40c is a bad ass magic number on this console they FAILED.

As for the 10% boost, I bet my pay cheque all it is is an AMD software upgrade to utilize TURBO BOOST. 10% is the avg increase for a PC to get from TURBO BOOST. The CPU is most likely with this latest bang gonna be equiv to a Piledriver FX 125w TDP CPU which with stock AMD cooler can run fine. So yeah if M$ isnt a retard and try to go all in house CPU heat should not be an issue.

No lab would be testing CPU workloads at 40F thats close to freezing temp. The F is most likely a typo and should be a C. 40F is 4.4C which is what us northern people feel outside beginning of winter. Now look at my post with this in mind, cause seriously do you really think the XBOXOne will keep the CPU at sub-freeze temp? LMAO

And Tweaked dont get offended man, 40C is the AVG temp for passive cards on a PC. You know the ones for WOrld of Warcraft junkies etc hence my designation. Wasnt a slam to you but rather the general class of passive cooled PC GPU gamers lol
