I know you are eager to hack. I know you are thirsty for information. I know you tired of waiting. Fortunately, some of you will have to wait yet a little, others a little more .... Why? As you know the new Xbox 360, which we call Slim, are available on the market with 4 different DVD Roms. Since last post was clear what the progress was in each of them. What I am gathering this evening is the following sentence in a Twitter via TeamJungle:
9504 final slim fw sent out to all testers! creating nfo file for release!
Quotes from the irc channel does emphasize the following statement c4eva:

What actually does this mean? This means that most likely tonight or sometime tomorrow we will have company to put in the new Slim-s who have the appropriate DVD drive. In case I can just stick with 9504 drives consoles, but after a while (do not ask how, because no one knows) and will be 0225. 0225 drives are the most common. 0500 and Hitachi have no hack and no info to work on them seriously at this point.
How to tell if you have 9504? Well the easiest is to open the console and check:) Of course this is not practicable, as violating the guarantee and if you're not a 9504 ... who knows for unknown period of time. Also to me when I am not a accurate method to identify available drive. Most accurate drive would set the date of manufacture. Naturally it has not been opened enough to know at least 90 percent certainty, how long are the DVDs and how long the other as he knew the old consoles. Therefore, at this stage, as has previously produced the console better. We can not think or find info when 0225 appears on the console, but it was pretty fast. There are quite a few consoles with 9504. My personal guess is that consoles after September 9504, but not sure.
Naturally you will immediately test in my console that firmware and report results. Only hope firm to come faster:)
