yeah... only problem is that my wireless router only has 1 ethernet port and that was being used by my desktop! I might just buy a wireless card for the desktop so I don't have to worry. Wireless is better for me because its a pain running a cable into the living room from the second bedroom!! but yeah I will stick with the cable connection for the time being

Most wireless routers should have 4 lan ports, so yours must be a modem from your ISP that has wireless built in. _________________________________________________________

I dunno... its just a wireless router with 1 ethernet out, its ADSL so the cable goes in the back then theres one port for ethernet then the wireless antenna... its a siemens router via Orange my ISP.
Its a bit shit to be fair, I will be changing ISP's next June when I finish my 18 month contract I think, just went with them because they offered the broadband cheap with my mobile bill

dude you live in Watford? your pulling my leg! seriously? Where abouts? I lived on the Holywell (cringes) for 27 years but have been living off bushey mill lane for the last year with my fiance (we got engaged last week so I'm not used to calling her that yet!) that's bizarre lol.
thanks its probably going to be ok now, we played on wednesday night and had an absolutely lag free 2 hour session of firefight so its cool, but i'll add you on live, its not often you come across a fellow xbox-er from the same town!

Hey guys finally got my net connection sorted so no worries... and thank god we finally got the Endure Vidmaster on ODST!! So I shall be running around on Halo 3 sporting my lovely Recon Armor finally! And my friend and I can finally start working on Halo Reach together, we always try to finish the previous games before going into the new one because I know I won't wanna go back to the old ones once I've started!! Thanks to all those of you who gave me help... I'm giving up on wireless now though lol
