ok, I'm a noob here on the site and this has probably been asked a million times but I can't find the results i'm looking for...

ok, I bought a jtagged 360, guy didn't tell me anything other than that it was jtagged

well I was going through deleting some games to free up hd space for other games and I accidentaly deleted NXE2GOD (I know, I'm an idiot)

I downloaded a game to the hd but it kept saying to insert the disc...come to find out i had deleted the nxe2god file

I thought I downloaded the file, I then dragged and dropped the file into my d drive and attempted to burn it to a dual layer dvd...it says the disc is burnt but when I put it in the 360 it says "reading" and then stops and says "open tray" which I'm assuming means it can't read something that isn't there....I have also tried putting the files on a formatted usb and still no success...I'm guessing I haven't downloaded the right files or I'm not going through enough steps to get it accomplishe...

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS NOOB and get me going, right now I have a useless jtagged 360 that I can't even put games on bcus I can't get NXE2GOD redownloaded on my 360..

I would really love a step by step so I can get it downloaded correctly to a dual layer dvd or my formatted usb....thanks guys much appreciated to any/all that can help

Welcome to 360-hq

You can download it from Xbins, OR the 360-HQ VIP FTP Servers. That's the places where you should get everything.

When you say you downloaded the game to the xbox hard drive, do you mean you ripped it from the disc while in the xbox, or transferred it from your pc to the xbox hard drive.

If you have the iso on your pc, you can use a program called iso2god and then transfer it to the hard drive either by ftp or plugging in the xbox hard drive to the pc.

As for nxe2god, get Auto Xbins and get it from there.

You will be able to get it back, so no worries about that.

I appreciate the help gentlemen, much appreciated...

this is the problem I am now encountering and I'll try and explain it the easiest I know how w/o sounding to nooby, lol

I've tried putting an nxe2god download on a usb and putting it on the 360 that way and I've even tried to burn it to a dual layer dvd and I can't get the 360 to recognize it when I try either method...

I formatted my usb to the 360, and then I copied the nxe2god files to the usb (or so I thought) but when I put the usb in the 360 nothing shows up at all, it says there are no files on the usb (but when I hook the usb up to my computer it shows the nxe2god file as being in there...at this point I'm lost...I thought the dual layer dvd method would be best but I'm obviously doing somethin(s) wrong....

and for what it's worth I download games of the original straight to the 360's hd

someone help, lol....looks like I came to a useful board at least

if anyone cares to give me a step by step rundown of what to do to get this to my 360 via a pm I would even paypay you money, lol...want to get this fixed asap as right now the 360 is worthless to me

Okay, first of all, transfer NXE2GOD to a USB stick that has been formatted as FAT32. To format as FAT32, go to Computer (My Computer), find your USB device, right click and press Format, under the File System box, choose FAT32 and format it. Once that is done, launch XEXMenu 1.1 on your JTAG and find the XEX file of NXE2GOD that you transfered to your USB stick, launch the XEX and if I remember correctly there should be a step by step installation there.

If you have any more questions or concerns about NXE2GOD, feel free to ask!

ok....

I formatted a 4gb flash drive to FAT32 and then formatted it to the 360 and it says it's succesful and compatible w/the 360

I put the flash drive in my computer and it shows that the flash drive has 1.85 GB on it and only 3.65 mb are free and it says I didn't have enough space to put the nxe2god files on it....wtf???

at this point I'm ready to toss the 360 out the window, I'm sure somehow this is an easy fix but I'm having no luck

To transfer files to 360 USB drive you need to use USBXTAFGUI (USBXplorer)
