Jasper and Xenon are two different types of Motherboards for the Xbox 360. When JTAGing a Xbox 360, the points you have to solder will be different depending on the type of motherboard you have.

Is there a link to site that shows pics of these motherboards? If i have one of these motherboards can i mod it even though my dashboard starts with 9?

Scratch that i did some research and i found that my xbox has a falcon motheroard. Can i chip it? I also have another xbox im attempting to fix. Itappears to have xenon motherboard. If i am able to fix it can i chip that one as well? Thanx for the help.

Send us the dashboard version and we will be able to identify if one of your Xbox 360's are JTAGable.

Oki finally fixed the xbox360 and it has Dashboard: 2.0.6717.0 And the other one is 9199. Thanx again.

The Xbox 360 you have fixed, can be JTAG'ed. The other one cannot. So I wouldent update that 2.0.6717.0 if I were you. Wink

What about a chip? If i jtag will i get banned from xbox live? If i can put a chip in is there one that anyone can recommend? I like to mod but i dont wanna get banned from xbox live. Also where can i find more info on what i need to jtag or chip this xbox? Thanx
