My USB drive must be screwed.. I copy over the update on my fat32 formatted usb stick and it wont recognise it..
And yes i unzipped it.. lol
Is there a manual way to force it to update or do i just need to try another usb device??
Did you include the main directory "$SystemUpdate"? If so, include that to.
I wonder how this can unban a Xbox 360, it must change the KV or something?

Im thinking MS did not think about people putting this update on a banned console lol so they did not add what they did before in the last update or maybe this will stop people from filing lawsuits as there was a bunch of people that were going to try but i would not see how they would win as MS owns everything lmao. Yeah, thats really weird, If it did unban all consoles and it was a glitch. Then there is problably another one hiding somewhere. Unless MS cleared their Ban List right when they put the new update to download. Haha

I heard they did this to save themselves from lawsuits and that was pretty much the only reason. its about time they did something as much as they wanted to charge for a 512mb memory card, it was crazy.

It would not unban consoles if it did they messed up big time can anyone confirm that they cant get on or can get on xbox live on there banned console. I'm glad they did it a lot of people out there with banned consoles that cant afford to buy news ones are to. Its didn't make since we ban your console so now you cant play games from your hard drive.

Profiles are still black listed. Only thing changed is the "installing games to HDD" feature is back.

Brizz so if you used your regular profile that you are on xbox live with the same hard drive as your non banned xbox and went to a banned xbox after it has been update and played a game got 20gs or so and went back to the non banned console does it go corrupt or no? did the gs points stay. I tested with just a 256MB MU not with a 20GB same difference tho it's a storage device.
I haven't tested with a 20GB but I can, I will see what it does.
