I recently purchased a toshiba laptop with an external sata port. I was just wondering if anyone has tried flashing drives with an esata port. Vista PRo

I have an intel ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller. My current 360 has a benq drive. I am a noobie as far as flashing a 360 goes. The last thing i modded was a xbox orginal with softmod. I am assuming the drive has a normal sata cable, which means i would have to find a esata to normal sata cable.

downloaded jungle flasher 0.1.55 and it recoginized my primary sata port, and my COM ports. if anyone knows where to get a esata cable to regular sata cable, please let me know. I really would like to try this and confirm if this will work.

No one i can remember has used a laptop with ESATA.. Give it a try and see if you can atleast read the drive.. Im interested to see if it works too.. I dont see why not as long as the SATA chipset is compatible.
