Has anyone here picked up spore for the pc?
for a couple years before it came out till it came out it was probobly the biggest thing anticipated for pc gaming, it was like the second coming of jesus. but since it came out I realy have not heard anything about it.
Was it just way over stated or is it so good that those guys still have not come out of their homes? lol

im waiting to see if they actually port it over to xbox as i heard some rumors they might, am interested as well to hear others opinions!
You didn't hear much about it because the crazy anti piracy stuff they put on it. You can only install the game 5 times, after that you can never do it again.
Spore was also the number one pirated game of 2008! Torrents all over the place for it lol... _________________________________________________________
I got a copy of it for the kids PC and yes it was as over stated as they get, 2 or 3 days of play and you just don't care any more.
i played it for 5 min and i got to say if i had pirated the game i would still feel ripped off.
If you want a real bag of crap try spore for the DS. LOL

Now that you mention it, I do remember the outcry about the limited number of uploads. Thought they were going to try to do away with that or let you be able to call in to confirm your identity or some crap.
I was anticipating it for a long time and my anticipations were met. The game is kind of shallow up until the civilization age, but the space age is ridiculously deep and I find a lot of fun.
I think this game has a lot of replay value and is worth a try
Seems like the big time publishers and payed game reviewers love it but the gamers and guys that had to spend cash on it don't.
I strongly feel that you cant take any ones word on how a game is, you just need to try it for your self.
