Not good. I bet you have it back within 7 days though which has to be good. I've been very lucky myself being able to fix most of my own RROD's.. Good to see ya cruising the forums again mate.. Catch ya online for a game soon i hope.
Lol you could be like my friend. His xbox got RROD end of july. His mom wouldn't let him call MS to fix it for a month. Then at the end of augest his mom just said lets just go buy a new arcade. _________________________________________________________

No chance of me buying a new one, not with this sucker under warranty.
Funny thing happened but, after I posted this last night I thought I might give it one more go. The box started like nothing was wrong. Connected to LIVE and had to do the HDMI dash update. After that restarted, RROD.
I would have hated it if I shipped it back and it started up normally. _________________________________________________________ Mattster
I've heard if your xbox is so broken they can't fix it you could get a jasper (one guy did on G4 forums, don't know if it happens often though). _________________________________________________________

Ok, Old topic but i thought I keep you guys updated
Finally got of my ass 2 weeks after my box RROD'ed and shipped it back for service. 4 Days later I had a refurb sent back to me.
I love that MS do that, cause now I have a falcon WOO HOO.
