I have a pc fan that has a molex connector at the end. would it hurt my xbox 360 if i used the talismoon energyzer cable that splices into the regular fan cable and provides another power device. I just didnt know if it would hurt mobo to take more power from the fan source.

You know I really don't think it would hurt the mobo. A fan doesn't really pull that much power. _________________________________________________________

im just going to cut a circle hole and install it on the outside of the case above the gpu / cpu area. i think i am going to set it up to blow cool air in the machine and let the exhause fans pull that air across and out.

Yep that should be fine, you could also put it on the right side if your 360 is horizontal, then you wouldn't need to cut a hole. Also be sure you put a dust filter on at least, if not a fan grill, if you plan on dusting it out every month or so then a fan grill would do just fine. Also I think the best size if your putting it on the right side would be 80mm, if you put it right above the cpu/gpu you could pretty much go with any size fan you want (80-120mm)

I stumbled across this kit today and actually now I am considering this. First off I enjoy doing stuff like this and secondly, I have been wanting to watercool my 360 for a while now. An effective watercooling system would eliminate chances of warpage and the RROD right?

The 3ROD is such a broad category of errors that you can't 100% eliminate the chance of it, but with water-cooling installed correctly it will eliminate the most common chance for it which has to do with the heatsinks.
If your going to go the watercooling route you could go with this, I've read good things about it
Personally I think watercooling your 360 is big time overkill. But if you have the money and the time and are willing to take the chance of ruining your system then by all means watercool your system. I personally just think it is a waste of time and money and I think if you just keep your 360 in a clean well ventilated area and don't play it 24 hours straight then you should be fine. Nothing I repeat nothing can guarantee you 100% that you won't get the red rings of death. But again this is only my humble opinion. _________________________________________________________
