So M$ is always keeping ahead of the trend and always trying to smash the competition. Where is the Internet Explorer360 software? I would have expected them to have it preinstalled like the competetors have or atleast have a Download in the marketplace. With the 120Gb HDD installed there is more than enough room to have flash, Java and other such various things that comprise the internet world. So I ask again why is M$ slacking in this area?

I dunno, I think they realize pretty much everyone with internet and a 360 have a computer, so they don't need to add it. Personally I would choose firefox on my computer over browsing on my 360/tv

I agree most people who own a console eithier have a laptop or family computer.Plus if you just buy a console and then can surf the web with it then why would you need a computer? Microsoft wants you to buy a computer too so you will use thier operating system. Gotta give props too old Bill Gates for being so damn smart. Very Happy

Another reason they are holding off on the browser (and i bet they will implement one) is because of security reasons.. Can you imagine hackers trying to download certain files to the 360 hdd to report back info... lol

I would suspect thats why they dont want to release one..
My guess is they are just waiting till they have to.. We all know PS3 has one..

I couldnt imagine really using it much as a browser.. Maybe occassionally.

Yes I do agree that good ol' bill would like us all to have every software and hardware that he owns , and that Hackers are always trying to find new ways of hacking M$ based things. Also most pople do have some sort of PC for web browsing and that gaming consoles are meant for gaming. Yes I do understand that Linux is out there but lets face it i'm not Linux 1337. I have no clue about programming.

I don't always feel like booting the pc waiting for windows to load and other various softwares that load on startup and all that jazz. Sometimes I just want to sit on my couch and surf the web to read things or just look around and not have to deal with windows crashing on me.

So basically I'm just surprised they don't have the option to buy the IE360 software from markeyplace for people like me....I thought they were the kings of making you buy something you already have.

It is a way of speaking, here is what it comes down to:

0 = O
1 = L
3 = E
4 = A
5 = S
7 = T

There may be more but I've never seen them in use. These are the most common ones. So 1337 is LEET
