Hi everyone, i would like to add some Cathode lamps and LED's on my 360, where's a good place to buy Cold Cathode and LED's for the 360? I know a 12" cathode won't work becasue it's too big, i was thinking of maybe using some epoxy and mounting the lamps somewhere on top of the clear XCM case i just ordered? Now for the led's i need a tutorial on where to solder them too. Any suggestions anyone? _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

what color leds u need i have a crap load of them for the other lighting try computer sites or even ebay if u want to see if u can get a deal on them or not they do have 4inch ones i acually think i have a set of 2 4inch blue ones i would have to look for soldering i will see if i can get a tut up on the power points and that for u unless someone had made one already but i have to fly for a little bit ill be back later. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

well here is a link that shows red smd strips of 300 for $20 which is not bad and u can cut them every 3 smd leds and attach them but they have blue too.

Those led light strips are awesome scarface, i just looked on ebay and they had a set in blue but the shipping was $14.95 from Hong Kong, without a doubt i'm going with the light strips though .. How in the world do you solder those by the way?? Ohh, do you have a link for a good deal on Cathodes also Scarface? Nevermind, it's flat rate shipping at $4.95, i just ordered those bad boys. I'm just trying to find out if you solder those to the motherboard or can you just strip the power cable from the dvd drive to draw power from there. _________________________________________________________ Xbox V1.3

my advice would be not to to run them from the 360 drive umm i will get a tut up on were there are power points on the motherboard for u ya shipping was cheap and if u read about them you can cut them every 3 smds some were there is a line i think and so say u want 15 of them on one side then you count up by every 3 and there is were u should cut. I am geting them too for my custom 360 here but i am waiting for a little right now dont have all the funds to get the stuff i need yet lmao.
