So yeah, I bet this is extremely noobish, but hey, I gotta ask it.

lol, but seriously, what are the things that I will be able to do once I am able to connect my xbox 360 HDD to my pc. I know one of things I can do is copy save games to the HDD, but I don't know much else.

I just want to know before I spend money on an adapter (not a big fan of cracking expensive things open).

I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer.

can you take the download file (say for oblivion, or maps for gears of war, etc...) and put them from your pc to your 360 hdd?

reason i ask is because I was wondering if you had a banned 360 and wanted additional content, if you found the files of the content you wanted and downloaded it, or got it from whoever...then could you put it from your pc to your hdd and use it?

also is there any programs to put on your pc to see the contents of the 360 game discs? like all the files?

lol, thanks for the replay. I guess I'll just wait until someone manages to "unlock" the xbox 360 get the software hacked before I go off buying a HDD adapter.

I suppose you could as long as the downloaded files are not signed and locked to the xbox 360 they were originall downloaded on..

Nearly everything on the entire hdd is encoded with keys which match the console it was downloaded on..

i have can connect my xbox 360 hdd to my pc right now but i could even get a movie off to convert for the site etc.. I was hoping i could even get a trailer but i didnt get it.

sorry for rambling.. lol

You have to mod the maps with .sppf then tyou download a halo 2 map resigner and just inject them in to:

<partition 3/Compatability/Xbox1/4d530064/$c/(any of them they all have the .map files)>
using Xplorer360.

Oh and where you inject the modded maps is also where you get the originals.

Tr1gg

p.s you can't use them on live, but some are usable on syslink (by can't I of course mean you get banned by bungie, not suire if it effects my beloved halo 3 but not taking my chances)

If there is anything in here that im not supposed to post please delete my post, thanks

Once they map halo 3 modding tools you'll be in the clear with mods.
