yeah, im at olympus heights right now and im having problems, its lagging so bad that it is nearly unplayable (average 10 - 17fps) and i get alot of textures that pop in and some voices sound like a record that is stuck on one spot , the weird thing is though is that it never did this before fort frolic and i've tried it with my game, blockbusters, and my friends game witch he beat the whole game lag free with... i've tried clearing my cache but nothing has helped so far, and there aren't any scratches on all 3 of the games
I just completed it on medium. I had the same problems as you. Pretty much was unplayable with the lag, a friend of mine was over and said "hey! there is suppose to be talking here!!" So I even missed out on dialog =[ Only BioShock is this slow as well, although my 360 startup/menus etc... are all really slow. Compared to old 360 and friends one.
Thats really weird, I had no problems, and I don't remember hobbs talking about it either. Wonder whats up with that? Pretty gay if you ask me, takes away from the experience.
Well my whole 360 as slowed down in terms of the dashboard. Other games run fine. Like signing into live takes 20 seconds or something and the glide can takes a good few seconds to open and close during gameplay. It started to slow down recently so I gotta try and return my 360. Might get it to RoD if I can so Microsoft will be more willing to replace/repair it.

Sounds to me like a faulty hdd mate??
Do you have another handy you could try?
Oh yeah, could be actually! Thanks mate. I'll give another one a try and perhaps buy a 120gb if mine is faulty. Maybe the cache needs clearing? How do you do that again?
thats what i was originally thinking hobbs, but today my 360 wasnt on all day, i figured id boot up my 360, clear the cache, then try bioshock, and amazingly it worked! no lag whatsoever i dunno why it started working now but im happy i can finish this masterpiece lag free,
and to xboxXXX to clear your cache go to the system tab, go to memory, press Y on the hard drive then press X,X,LB,RB,X,X, it will ask you to do system maintenence that clears the cache but also deletes game updates _________________________________________________________

Thanks. Just tried it, but didn't seem to speed up the menus. BioShock runs fine though, next level I think it started to slow down before. I'm at the market at the moment.

I played through the demo twice. What a game! It hooks you in and creeps you out. I think I'll be getting it.
