Hey all Looks like the Black map pack which was just released was taken back down because it was listed as 800 gamer points to buy, seems it is suposed to be FREE, it will be put back up if not already as free download. Also the Red Map pack, ( the first of the extra maps) will also be put up for free on the 6th of july for those that dont have it yet, this is a good day for us R6V players, got to go now and see if I can download the black pack for free yet,

So, can you DL it through the marketplace, or do you have to have the disc to DL the extra free maps?

dont need disc to download, just go to market place ---- games-----Rainbow 6 vegas------ then click on the black map pack and red in a few days to download to your hard drive, but you will need your disc if you want to play them of course.

The Black pack which is available now is 706mb in size and the red pack which will be free on friday will be 685mb.

I bought the red pack for 800ms points like a week ago.. lol
Then i got told by a few guys i will be getting a refund.. It was meant to be free and not released yet.
btw. the new maps are huge.. Anyone up for a terrorist hunt with 70 guys to track down...? lmfao..
ya, wartown is huge. and the Red lotus is much larger than i first thought after really exploring it. Some dont like the new streets map, its the same as old but now its night time , I like it alot, Is more splinter cell hide in the shadows style. I make sure to put on the black clothing for those maps.
Also did you mean the black pack? I know they are giving refunds for black map pack but dont think the same for the red map pack.

The red pack was the first set of extra maps for the game, it has been out for a while, it also includes game types such as assassination, conquest, and 3 new maps and 2 redesigned existing maps, this red pack if you dont have it already will be offered for free on july 6th.
The black Pack is the brand new map pack just released and is free right now. it has 4 brand new maps and 1 redone map. 4 of the maps are night time maps which is why I think they call it the black pack.
I take that back, it has 3 night maps and 2 day maps.
