Well,

I was looking around and the new GameInformer had a black Xbox 360 in it. I saw it at school and didnt have time to look into it.

But i then see on xbox.com that it has all black accessories and a 120GB HDD?!?!?

Im wondering what you guys have to say about the new system, and if you think they fixed any of the problems that the Xbox 360 system has.

Well other than this site I have not seen anything about it. As for the problems are you talking about the Ring of Death? Answer is most likely going to be No.

It did take them long enough to increase the HD size didn't they.

I know.

And also according to an article i read some time back, they said they were releasing an Xbox 360 v.2.0 and it had more ports on the back so you could use actual HD-HDMI cables with it. I bet that this one has that, and some other features.

I also wouldnt be surprised if that was the only 360 capable of handling the 120GB HDD that they provide. I bet we will all have to do the upgrades our self.

All the answers to this at at xbox.com

There will be a 120GB drive for a current 360s but it is expensive $170 I think. You can bet that once they update all 360s to support their new drive people will then be able to figures ways to circumvent and use the cheaper off the shelf drives like you can with PS3.

This Elite 360 does have a HDMI connection for true digital 1080p.

Personally, I welcome the Elite and will definitely get one as soon as I can and I'll be keeping my current 360. I can't wait to see 1080p gaming on my HDTV.

Just start looking around for the 20 gigs that people sell off when they go to a 120 gig. You should be able to pick them up pretty cheap.

as far as backing up your stuff from the old box to the new...you could just use a memory card for all of your saves, then just redownload all the content...right?

i did read that it wont be limited, at first they were saying that it was going to be a limited item.

in my opinion, the 360 should have been black in the first place.

Not sure I'm following you, are you talking about if you buy a new 120 gig hdd. Or if you replace your current 20 gig with something larger?

It comes with a transfer kit, the only down side of it. Is that you can only go one way, and when it finishes transferring over it erases the content on your 20 gig.
